Pinterest is enhancing its UK sales team with two significant appointments this summer. Caroline Orange-Northey has been named Director of Retail Sales, while Naureen Mohammed will take on the role of Director of CPG Sales.

Caroline Orange-Northey transitions to Pinterest from Amazon Ads, where she spent nine years as part of the UK leadership team, overseeing vertical teams across fashion, consumer electronics, sports, home, and luxury. With over 20 years of experience in media, including roles in radio, outdoor, cinema, streaming TV, gaming, print, digital, live sport, sports rights, and marketing partnerships, Orange-Northey brings a wealth of knowledge to Pinterest.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Orange-Northey said, “I’m excited to join Pinterest during this crucial phase of the company’s growth. Pinterest has impressed me with its exceptional product offerings, enabling a comprehensive end-to-end customer journey. Starting from where inspiration strikes, Pinterest guides users through their decision-making process, ultimately leading to sales. It’s like the happiest corner of the internet, and as someone who is relentlessly upbeat, this opportunity feels like the perfect fit for me. I’m eagerly looking forward to diving in and making a positive impact!”

Naureen Mohammed joins Pinterest from Meta, where she served as head of CPG marketing for the EMEA region. With 25 years of experience at major consumer goods and technology companies, including Johnson & Johnson and Unilever, Mohammed is adept at building and launching new revenue streams and internal capabilities.

Mohammed commented, “I couldn’t be more thrilled to join Pinterest, a tranquil haven on the internet that is truly aligned with my personal values of inclusivity and representation. I’m eager to harness its unique power to connect CPG consumers with the products and brands they love, turning discovery into delight and inspiration into action.”

Both new hires will report to Pinterest UK Managing Director Beth Horn, who joined the company on June 24th from Spotify. Mohammed will start in August, followed by Orange-Northey in September.
